Privacy policy

This policy explains how proapp GmbH processes personal data when you visit this website or contact us. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

Visiting the website

When you access the website, our hosting provider stores technically necessary data in server log files, such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type. This data is used to operate the site securely and is deleted after a short period.

Fonts are served from our own server, not from third parties. We do not use advertising cookies.

Web analytics with Google Analytics

Only if you agree in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies and records how you use the website, for example pages viewed, time spent, approximate region, device and browser, and whether you submitted an enquiry. We use this information only in aggregated form to improve the website.

Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We keep analytics data for no longer than 14 months.

We store your choice in your browser. You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. More from Google: policies.google.com/privacy

Contact and enquiries

When you contact us via form, email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, message and a link to your project) to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare an engagement.

Code access for the AI Check

For the AI Check we receive read access to your source code. We use it exclusively for the agreed review, treat it confidentially and remove our access when we are done. On request we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) beforehand.

Disclosure and processing abroad

We only share personal data with service providers we need to run the website and communicate (e.g. hosting and email) and, with your consent, Google for web analytics . If data is transferred to a country without adequate data protection, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for its purpose or as required by law.

Your rights

You can request information about your data and ask for it to be corrected or deleted at any time by writing to d.santagata@proapp.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
